Book 100!!! :D

Hey Guys!
As you can see from the title I just finished book #100! :)
So book 100 was House by Ted Dekker and Frank Peretti. I have read House before,  in fact it was the first book I had read by Dekker.  Let me tell you, I was hooked after reading this book.
I have read as many of Dekker's as I can get ever since.  I don't know. It's just something about the way he describes everything, and in great detail too. He has a way of making the story jump out of the book and making you feel like you are really living out the story.  I admit when I first read this book I slept with the light on for a week, but the book was so good.
There is really no way of describing this book without giving a lot away, but i will try my best.

Jack and Stephanie Singleton were traveling on the back roads of Alabama. When all four their tires get slashed, they get out of the car to look at the damage and see a sigh for the Wayside Inn.  They think since it is getting dark they will go stay there for the night and call a tow truck in the morning.
They get to the Inn and meet Randy Messarue and Leslie Taylor. The owners are nowhere in sight. They find out that Randy and Leslie's tires were slashed just like theirs. When Betty the owner's wife finally shows up, the power goes out. She seems nice enough to Jake. Then she starts ordering them all to get ready for dinner. They all go wash their hands and return to the dining room, where they meet Stewart (the owner) and Pete (the owner's son).
Dinner does not go well.  Pete can't stop staring at Leslie. Randy had already met Stewart in the bathroom and they are not getting along. Betty keeps asking Stephanie if she wants more ice and Jack can't help but notice that there is something wrong with the food.  Just then they look down at there food and its crawling with maggots.  Stephanie screams and runs out of the house only to have them all follow her and have them all stop and the door and stare. What they see is a man in a black trench coat holding a shot gun and wearing a tin mask with two holes cut out for his eyes, eyes that are just as black as his coat.  Betty screams at Stephanie to come back in the house that its him. She runs back in the house and Betty locks all the doors and tells everyone to go in the living room.  They are all scared by this point, they don't know what is going on when the hear something like a tin can rattling.
They all look toward the fire place and see a tin can fall into the fire place.  Jack goes over to it picks it up and sees that there is writing on it. When he Reads it to they start to panic.
"House Rules"
1. God came to my house and I killed him.
2. I will kill anyone who comes into my house like I killed God.
3. Give me one dead body I might let rule #2 slide.
You have till dawn."
One Game. Seven Players. Three Rules. Game Ends at Dawn.

This book is a thriller that will keep one on the edge of your seat till you finish. I hope you read it, and if you do you will have to message me and tell me how you liked it.
Happy Reading!<3

Book #93

Hi There!
Book number 93 was Maid to Match by Deeanne Gist.  Let me just say Deeanne Gist is one of my all time favorite authors. She has a way of making you feel like you are in the book. She describes everything in all her books so well, her books have a way of sucking you in and you can't put the book down until you finish. Then you have to read the book again because it was so good. :)

Tillie is a parlor maid at the Biltmore Estate, although she is very excited that she is in the running to be Mrs. Vanderbilt's lady's maid.
Tillie has dreamed for a long time of becoming a lady's maid. If she is chosen she will be able to travel, wear fancy clothes and get paid more then a normal maid. The only thing is, lady's maids are not allowed to get married.  Tillie didn't see this as a problem that is until she meets Mack.
Mack is hired for one reason. He has an Identical twin brother Earl, and they are both tall and very good looking.  Mrs. Vanderbilt will be the talk of the town when people see that she has identical footman. Only thing is Mack has no desire to be a footman. Mrs. Vanderbilt enlists Tillie to train Mack to become a proper footman and to tame his wild temper.  Tillie is not really happy that she has to train Mack on top of doing all of her other duties, but as time goes on and she gets to know Mack she begins to look forward to spending time with him; but if Tillie wants to be lady's maid she can't let anything not even Mack get in her way.

As Tillie and Mack are faced with new problems you will feel like you just want to jump in the book and give them both a hug and say everything will be all right in the end.  You begin to feel like Tillie and Mack are your best friends and when the book is over you just have to read it again and again.
This is a book that you could read a 100 times and still want to read it again. If you are a sap you will cry at least once. Trust me, I did.   I hope you will read this book sometime and let me know if you feel the same way I do about it.  Happy Reading! <3
