Hi There!
Book number 93 was Maid to Match by Deeanne Gist. Let me just say Deeanne Gist is one of my all time favorite authors. She has a way of making you feel like you are in the book. She describes everything in all her books so well, her books have a way of sucking you in and you can't put the book down until you finish. Then you have to read the book again because it was so good. :)Tillie is a parlor maid at the Biltmore Estate, although she is very excited that she is in the running to be Mrs. Vanderbilt's lady's maid.
Tillie has dreamed for a long time of becoming a lady's maid. If she is chosen she will be able to travel, wear fancy clothes and get paid more then a normal maid. The only thing is, lady's maids are not allowed to get married. Tillie didn't see this as a problem that is until she meets Mack.
Mack is hired for one reason. He has an Identical twin brother Earl, and they are both tall and very good looking. Mrs. Vanderbilt will be the talk of the town when people see that she has identical footman. Only thing is Mack has no desire to be a footman. Mrs. Vanderbilt enlists Tillie to train Mack to become a proper footman and to tame his wild temper. Tillie is not really happy that she has to train Mack on top of doing all of her other duties, but as time goes on and she gets to know Mack she begins to look forward to spending time with him; but if Tillie wants to be lady's maid she can't let anything not even Mack get in her way.
As Tillie and Mack are faced with new problems you will feel like you just want to jump in the book and give them both a hug and say everything will be all right in the end. You begin to feel like Tillie and Mack are your best friends and when the book is over you just have to read it again and again.
This is a book that you could read a 100 times and still want to read it again. If you are a sap you will cry at least once. Trust me, I did. I hope you will read this book sometime and let me know if you feel the same way I do about it. Happy Reading! <3
